    Hi,
Good morning I'm new to the forum and was hoping that someone could kindly help me to ID the Plate that has just come into my possession.

    L.N.E.R 21 Tons 1944 Darlington 260555 as per photograph and it measures approx 27.5cm x 17cm
    Many thanks for any help.

It is London North Eastern Railway, probably off a large wagon maybe a brake van. The number is the number of the wagon so if you checked in some books about LNER wagons for the number and tonnage you should be able to find the type of wagon. It isn't worth a huge amount of money.
