Very enjoyable evening. We had a new lad start, only 13 years old, really enjoyed himself. We also had a 14 year old member of the team.
It's quite refreshing to see youngsters taking up an interest in Heritage and indeed learning new skills.
The kitchen got up to 55 Degrees that evening, now that's hot! The Chef and assistant we're leaking a little.

I worked both pullmans this weekend, one was a standard Saturday night and the other was something rather special.
The Sunday lunch train was a Mayors Special. Over 40 different Mayors from across the sough east.
This is one of our volunteer Pullman Attendants, wearing the standard Pullman uniform.
I caught him during the busy main course food service, Mike was carrying the Vegetable tray. Cabbage, Carrots and Cauliflower.
My first Sunday Lunch train this year,
I was waiting today, with Chris Garman as Head Waiter. I really enjoyed it today with the really nice sunshine but cold wind.
I had the pleasure or meeting Steven at one of the door's of the pullman, Steven used to be one of our moderators I gave him a tour of the train and managed to get the chef to let him try some of the world famous Cream of Vegetable Soup.
The Sunday lunches run in a different manner, we run from Tenterden
What a cracking first train.
It took me 45 Minutes to get to the railway, got there at about half four ish.
Customers arrived at 7pm onwards and the train departed at 7:45
It was a fairly standard train to be honest, using the normal Pullman set.
We leave the last two bays empty at the end of the Maunsell coach, this is because of time,
the catering manager was behind the bar and we had three younger members of staff helping which is really good,
It's April and my first shift as Head waiter this year on the Wealden Pullman awaits.
